A desperation to have a baby is what reportedly made actress Megan Fox to tie the knot with her long-term lover Brian Austin Green. She married Brian on June 24 in a secret ceremony in Hawaii, where only six guests were invited. "Megan is a very maternal girl and she's been pining for a baby for quite some time. It wouldn't surprise me to hear her announce her pregnancy very soon," a source told National Enquirer magazine. "That's the reason she suddenly tied the knot with Brian after all these years.”

The couple met first in 2004 and got engaged two years later. But, their romance, said to be turbulent, didn’t last long. They ended their engagement last year, but quickly reunited. Though both refused to share the reasons for their split, it is believed Brian proposed again at the start of last month. They married at the Four Seasons Resort on Big Island. Brian's eight-year-old son Kassius, his child with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil, attended the wedding.

Earlier, Megan’s publicist denied reports that she secretly married Brian because she was pregnant. Rumors claimed she was spotted patting her stomach, leading to conclusions that she was pregnant with Brian’s child and secretly married him. But Fox's publicist at the time insisted that the rumors were "not true."

While Megan Fox is best known for role in the “Transformers”, Brian Austin Green is an American actor, known for his portrayal of David Silver on the television series Beverly Hills, 90210, a role he played from 1990 to 2000.
