Burglars indicted in thefts at the homes of Megan Fox

Five people face conspiracy charges after burglarizing a string of celebrity homes belonging to Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom and Megan Fox.

The group is expected to go on trial in November before a grand jury. They have stolen millions of dollars in jewelry, clothing and luxury items from Hollywood Hills estates that they targeted between October 2008 and August 2009.

The New York Daily News reports that the group had detailed plans to break into Hilton’s home, including the placement of security cameras and where she hid the key to her front door. Some of the heiress’ stolen goods have been recovered. Hers was the first home to be burglarized.

Indicted are Nicholas Frank Prugo, Rachel Lee, Courtney Lee Ames, Roy Lopez Jr. and Diana Tamayo.
The five pleaded not guilty Friday and agreed to return to court Aug. 12.
