Cody: 'Boys didn't come out for Megan Fox'
Diablo Cody has admitted that she's "surprised" more boys didn't come out and see Megan Fox in Jennifer's Body.
The Academy Award Juno screenwriter has revealed that she takes full responsibility for the 2009 horror-comedy's lack of box office draw.
Speaking to New York, the 31-year-old said: "I am surprised more boys didn't come out for Megan [Fox]. But I own my own failure. I hate it on American Idol when they do a horrible performance and they go,'Well, I had fun'. I think that's bullsh*t. If you failed, you didn't have fun."
Last week, it was reported that Cody will be reteaming with the makers of her first feature Juno for the new movie Young Adult.
